As Niseko settles into the green season, the aroma of baked bread returns to Kumo Restaurant at Skye Niseko.

From 18 July to 25 October 2026, Kumo Restaurant's Summer Bread Buffet returns on weekends and selected public holidays. As the region's only dedicated bread lunch buffet, it brings together more than 10 varieties of bread baked in-house and a colourful selection of seasonal dishes.

Whether you are gathering with family, catching up with friends or planning a weekend lunch in Niseko-Hirafu, Kumo Restaurant offers an inviting escape from the midday heat and a place to share good food and time together.

Bread takes centre stage at the buffet, with more than 10 varieties baked in-house each day. From crusty loaves to soft naan and mini burgers, there is plenty to discover at the bread station.

Drawing on French baking techniques, our in-house baker prepares everything using premium Hokkaido ingredients, giving each loaf, roll and pastry the distinct sweetness and texture of the region's flour and dairy. From crusty sourdoughs and soft brioche to seasonal herb specialties, the bread here isn't a side dish. It's the reason people come back.
